Philosophy of Care
I chose primary care/internal medicine because this specialty allows me to see patients as a whole, establish rapport, trust, continuity of care, educate them about their health choices, and to help them prevent disease. I also like the variety of diagnostic challenges and helping my patients to understand their treatment. Most importantly, I believe that a doctor and a patient must work together to maximize the patient's health.
