Philosophy of Care
What I love about primary care internal medicine is the privilege of getting to know my patients over a long time and helping them to live as healthy lives as possible. Preventing illness, maintaining health and quality of life, following evidence-based medicine, and helping educate my patients about their own health are my goals. I am also very interested in health policy, the art and science of health care delivery systems, and shared decision-making between patient and doctor. I believe these broader topics hold tremendous implications for both the current and future state of health care.
