Prevention and early detection of work-related injuries & illnesses

About Us

PAMF’s Employee Health Screening Clinic works with employers to effect early detection and prevention of work-related injuries and/or illnesses. Our staff relies on NIOSH studies and uses OSHA baseline and surveillance measures as a basis for analysis. Our highly trained staff can help guide employers to appropriate medical services relative to the employees' risks and environment, and assist employers in ensuring compliance with OSHA requirements.

Our History

Since its inception in 1930, the Palo Alto Medical Clinic has been recognized as a pioneer in the delivery of comprehensive, high-quality care to its patients. In 1967, the Clinic began offering occupational health screening services designed to address potential workplace hazards and their effects on employees' health.

Today, our provider team specializes in the early detection of a wide array of occupational injuries and illnesses. With an emphasis on prevention, we equip clients with information on occupational safety, and on reducing the risk of injuries and illnesses in the workplace.

Our Affiliation

Our clients benefit from PAMF’s status as an affiliate of the Sutter Health System, which provides occupational health services in more than 13 counties throughout Northern California. This association provides our staff with a forum for exchanging information with other occupational health physicians regarding the most innovative, cost-effective and comprehensive techniques for early detection of workplace injuries and illnesses. By keeping up-to-date on state and federal compliance issues, and being active members of the communities we serve, the Sutter team strives to keep our clients apprised of pertinent events. This affiliation allows us to provide the caring, personalized attention of a private doctor's office, backed by the extensive resources and knowledge base of a large health network.
