Shared Medical Appointments

Randy Linde, M.D., holds four Shared Medical Appointments (SMA) per week for patients to discuss pre-diabetes, metabolic syndrome, type II diabetes, and lipids and cholesterol.

According to patients who have attended endocrinology SMAs, they "found the group dynamics to be energizing and the experience highly beneficial." SMAs may also provide a patient the opportunity to be seen by a physician earlier than the next available regular appointment.
