Premium Eye Care Services & Surgery
The Palo Alto Medical Foundation is proud to offer a variety of *premium refractive eye surgeries to San Francisco Bay Area people. Refractive eye surgery is any eye surgery used to improve vision that eliminates or decreases the need for glasses or contact lenses.
These methods include reshaping of the cornea or cataract surgery. Refractive surgery also can reduce or cure common vision disorders such as nearsightedness (myopia), farsightedness (hyperopia) and blurred vision (astigmatism).
Corrective eye surgery has evolved rapidly over the last 25 years. The Palo Alto Medical Foundation Vision Correction Centers offer the latest technology:
LASIK: The technology used in the iLASIK Procedure - the blade-free LASIK method performed at the Palo Alto Medical Foundation (PAMF) - has been in use for years and has a long safety record.
Oculoplastic Procedures: Our surgeons perform both reconstructive and cosmetic eye procedures such as laser skin resurfacing, eye lifts, brow lifts, facelifts, and Restylane and Botox injections.
* Premium services: Some services may not be covered by all health plans, and there may be additional out-of-pocket cost to you depending on your health insurance policy. In discussing your options with PAMF, the doctor's staff will be able to check on your coverage for procedures.
