The Fremont Eye Center is made up of two medical specialties: ophthalmology and optometry. Optometry include comprehensive eye care for our patients. The Fremont Optometrists screen for diseases such as glaucoma, cataracts, macular degeneration, hypertensive retinopathy and diabetic retinopathy. They also prescribe corrective lenses when needed, such as glasses and contact lenses.
In addition to general ophthalmology, including cataract evaluation and surgery, Fremont subspecialty services are available in cornea and external disease, glaucoma, pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus, neuro-ophthalmology, oculoplastic surgery and vitreo-retinal disease and surgery.
Ophthalmology
Office hours: Monday, 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Tuesday, 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. and 1 to 3:30 p.m.
Wednesday, 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Thursday, 7:30 to 11:30 a.m.
Friday, 8 to 10 a.m. and 1 to 4 p.m.
Optometry
Office hours: Optometry services are available Monday through Friday. Please call (510) 498-2800 to determine appointment availability.
Optical Dispensary
Office hours: Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 to 6 p.m.
Although appointments are not required for the dispensary, you can schedule an appointment by calling 510-498-2814.
