Testicular Sperm Aspiration
When a man's sperm cannot move through his genital tract because of blockage, the sperm can be surgically removed from the epididymis or testicular tissue. These procedures are usually performed by an urologist while the female patient is undergoing IVF.

The resulting embryos are then transferred into the woman's uterus through the cervix. Testicular Sperm Aspiration: A needle biopsy of the testicle used to obtain small amounts of sperm. A small incision is made in the scrotal skin and a spring loaded needle is fired through the testicle. |
