Interventional Pulmonology Program – Lung Cancer

It’s difficult to hear the words “You have lung cancer,” but it shouldn’t be difficult finding fast, efficient, top-quality care for it. And at PAMF, we are poised to intervene even before lung cancer strikes. Currently, our Interventional Pulmonology Program is the only program on the West Coast offering 24 different diagnostic and therapeutic interventional pulmonology procedures that shorten the time from diagnosis to treatment, reduce or eliminate the need for surgery and give patients a better quality of life.

PAMF’s vision is to build a robust Interventional Pulmonology Program that is the best in the country because of its strong research component and 100% focus on patient care. Aided by technology, our patients won’t have to “wait and see” what happens to a spot on a CT scan … they can:

    • get an earlier diagnosis,
    • minimize their exposure to unnecessary radiation,
    • avoid high-risk surgical biopsies,
    • face fewer complications and,
    • receive an optimized treatment planning strategy.

To help translate this vision into reality, please make a gift today or contact Raya Elias-Petros, campaign manager and senior gift officer, at 650-934-7362 or eliaspr@pamf.org.
