The nurse health educators are available to provide individual breast self-examination instruction. After watching a video of breast self-examination technique (available in English and Spanish), you will have the opportunity to practice the technique on a model of a breast that contains lumps of various shapes and sizes. (Please allow approximately one hour for instruction.) Call for more information or to schedule an appointment.

After watching a short video that teaches men how to do testicular self-examinations, you will have the opportunity to practice the technique on a model of a testicles that contains lumps of various shapes and sizes. No appointment is necessary.
Note: The Community Health Resource Centers (CHRCs) are not intended to be a substitute for an appointment with your physician. Your specific clinical and diagnostic medical questions should continue to be directed to your physician. However, the CHRCs can serve as an important adjunct to your physician's advice by providing a resource for you to become a better informed decision-maker on issues related to your health.
