About the Program

The goal of this youth education program is to provide fifth graders with age-appropriate nutrition education and action steps to take toward achieving proper nutrition and healthy lifestyles. The program is designed to be integrated in the science curriculum. A nutrition educator will deliver the nutrition education topics in the classroom. The program is designed to be fun with hands-on, interactive activities. To learn more about the program, please refer to the links above for details.

The schools that have been chosen to receive this program are: Bowers, Bubb, Cumberland, and Lakewood elementary schools.
