Cynthia Riepling, R.N., received her BSN degree from California State University East Bay (Hayward) in 2005. Prior to joining PAMF's hip resurfacing group, she worked at the Lucile Packard Children's Hospital in Palo Alto as a heart, liver and kidney transplant nurse.

She has been specially trained by Drs. Hartford and Lannin and observed the hip resurfacing procedure in the operating room. Ms. Riepling handles the preoperative and postoperative patient education and maintains close contact with the patient throughout the entire process-from the initial patient initial visit onwards. She helps patients know what to expect, visits them in the hospital and facilitates with follow up and questions after surgery.
