About the Mills-Peninsula Physician Network
The Mills-Peninsula Physician Network is comprised of 500 of the area's finest physicians who work closely together to provide care for the mid-Peninsula communities. The network offers consumers a choice of physician practice styles:
Mills-Peninsula Division of the Palo Alto Medical Foundation (MPD)
The Mills-Peninsula Division (MPD) of the Palo Alto Medical Foundation formed in 2010 to provide a multi-specialty practice model for patients in our community. Today the group comprises around 60 doctors, including primary care physicians and specialists. When you choose a Mills-Peninsula Division physician and you have HMO insurance, your specialty care, laboratory and radiology services will be provided by the Mills-Peninsula Physician Network, which includes specialists in Daly City, San Bruno, Millbrae, Burlingame, Foster City and San Mateo. Many of the MPD physicians now practice in the Burlingame Clinic located on the campus of the new Mills-Peninsula Medical Center.
Mills-Peninsula Medical Group (MPMG)
The Mills-Peninsula Medical Group is an Independent Practice Association that includes primary care and specialists. MPMG physicians are represented on this web site exclusively for HMO plans. For more information about other types of insurance MPMG physicians accept, please contact the individual physician's office.
