An Integrative Approach to Women’s Health
Dr. Dyer believes in a holistic, integrative approach to patient care incorporating traditional, preventive and complementary medicine. She is trained in cutting-edge surgical solutions including advanced laparoscopic surgery and hysteroscopy, endometrial ablation as well as minimally invasive solutions to problems such as bleeding from fibroids, benign ovarian cysts, uterine polyps and heavy periods (menorrhagia). Dr. Dyer has extensive experience in menopause transition using both hormonal as well as non hormonal therapy. In addition to staying at the forefront of traditional medical practice, Dr. Dyer has studied mind/body medicine for many years and recognizes the importance that diet, exercise, meditation, prayer, guided imagery and other techniques play in maintaining and improving health. Dr. Dyer actively encourages her patients to participate in all decisions involving their health care and takes that time to educate them about choices and alternatives. As a breast cancer survivor herself, Dr. Dyer has deep empathy and understanding for the difficult journey of illness and treatment.
