Menlo Park Surgical Hospital: Insurance
Menlo Park Surgical Hospital (MPSH) contracts with several insurance companies. For an up-to-date list of insurance plans accepted by MPSH, call 855-398-1633.
A Sutter Health's Patient Access representative will contact you prior to surgery to review your insurance information. If you have not been contacted by the day before your surgery, simply call toll-free at 1-855-398-1637 between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, and a specialist will:
- Verify and update your personal information
- Confirm your insurance details
- Estimate your out of pocket cost
- Request payment (if that applies to you)
- Answer any registration and insurance questions you have
Patients with verified insurance will be asked to pay their portion on or before the day of surgery.
All major credit cards, cash and personal checks made out to Menlo Park Surgical Hospital are accepted. MPSH will bill your insurance as a courtesy. However, the balance due is the patient's responsibility and payment will be requested from you unless your insurance company pays within 60 days.
MPSH recognizes its obligation to remain flexible in financial matters. In the event that any of the above statements cannot be met, we will attempt to make other financial arrangements. These arrangements must be made prior to admission and approved by MPSH.
