Paul Jackson, M.D., Ph.D., is a graduate of Stanford University (B.S. in Chemistry) and received his M.D. and Ph.D. in Neurobiology from Harvard Medical School and Harvard University. He completed his internship and first part of his neurosurgical residency at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston. He completed his neurosurgical residency at Stanford University School of Medicine, then completed a fellowship in stereotactic radiosurgery at Stanford Hospital.

Prior to completing his residency, he worked in the medical device industry as the chief medical officer of a biomedical startup working to treat stroke patients. He holds several patents and is still active in the biotechnology community.

Dr. Jackson joined PAMF in 2006. He was formerly a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Neurosurgery at Stanford University. He is currently the Deputy Chief of Neurosurgery at Stanford Hospital. His professional interests include neuro-oncology, radiosurgery, minimally invasive neurosurgery and spine surgery, and spinal cord stimulation for pain.

Dr. Jackson is married with five children. He enjoys backpacking, skiing, and photography.
