Important Reminder to Medicare Eligible Patients

Patients are reminded that the open enrollment period for Medicare Advantage plans is November 15 to December 31. (Note: These open enrollment dates may not apply for patients who have retiree health care coverage through their former employers.)
Medicare Advantage plans are available as an alternative to traditional Medicare and Medicare supplement (also known as Medigap) plans. They offer patients the same level of high-quality care, with fewer Medicare bills and forms to complete. These plans offer some important benefits that traditional Medicare does not cover, such as emergency care anywhere in the world, enhanced prescription coverage, and health and wellness education programs.
