PAMF-Affiliated Medical Groups Named Top Performers
The Integrated Healthcare Association (IHA) has named the former Camino Medical Group, Santa Cruz Medical Foundation and Palo Alto Medical Clinic β all affiliated with PAMF β as three of the most outstanding physician groups in California based on its 2007 Pay-for-Performance (P4P) program measures.
IHA's P4P program is the largest physician incentive program in the United States. It assesses physician groups based on objective measures of clinical quality, patient experience and information technology. All three of PAMF's affiliated physician groups scored in the top 20 percent of the more than 200 physician groups statewide that participated in the P4P program.
"IHA's measurements validate our efforts to provide quality care to our patients whether they are in Santa Cruz, Mountain View, Palo Alto, Fremont or Dublin," said David Druker, M.D., president and CEO of PAMF. "Every aspect of a patient's experience from the moment they enter our doors is important to us. I am proud of our physicians and staff for putting the needs of our patients first and helping us to achieve this recognition."
PAMF also recently received performance awards from Sutter Health, of which PAMF is an affiliate, in four categories: best performance in quality, best performance in affordability, most improved in patient satisfaction and most improved in quality.
