Join us for a thought-provoking film series and discussion led by Palo Alto Medical Foundation family medicine physician and former film critic Ed Yu, M.D., and registered dietitians.
"King Corn" is a feature documentary about two friends, one acre of corn, and the subsidized crop that drives the fast-food industry. (June 25)
"Fresh" profiles the farmers and business people across the nation who are at the forefront of re-inventing America's food system in a more sustainable fashion. (July 30)
"What's on Your Plate", which was filmed over the course of one year, follows two eleven-year-old multi-racial city kids as they explore their place in the food chain. (August 27)
