The Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology at the Fremont Center offers a fully-staffed, dedicated health care team and a wide-range of services including:

  • General obstetric and gynecologic care
  • High-risk obstetrics
  • Infertility treatments for women under age 40
  • Hormone replacement therapy in menopause
  • Minimally invasive surgery
  • Hysteroscopy
  • Laparoscopy
  • Thermal balloon ablation
  • Urogynocological services
  • Biofeedback procedures
  • Shared medical appointments
  • Imaging services, such as MRI, CT and ultrasound, on-site.
The Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology's proximity to primary care departments, such as internal medicine, family practice and pediatrics, is also convenient for patients and their families. The department staff speaks several languages, and is prepared to serve its culturally and ethnically diverse patient population.

The Department has two full-time certified nurse midwives (CNMs) on staff that provide alternative obstetrical care and annual health maintenance exams. The CNMs work in conjunction with the physicians to provide obstetric care. Having two nurse midwives on staff allows the Department to look at the patient as a whole and see how they are feeling emotionally, as well as physically -- focusing on women's total health.

The Fremont Center also offers birthing classes and urogynocology.
