Celebrations are a great way to mark the passage of important and memorable events. There are all types of celebrations: national, religious, and personal.
Although your child may happily participate in your family's celebrations, he or she may not understand the significance of the event. This page provides helpful information for all types of holidays so you and your child may appreciate the event even more.

- The December Dilemma: Presented by Parents Place, this pamphlet takes a look at seasonal stress, materialism, and family dilemmas during the holiday season. The goal is to promote meaningful family rituals and traditions.
- History of the Holidays: The History Channel presents great historical information on various holidays. Learn more about your favorite holiday here – how it began, how it is celebrated around the world, etc.
