  • Teen Drivers, Activities: This U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Web site evaluates different interventions that are designed to reduce teen driving accidents. It provides helpful policy information for parents.

  • Teen Workers: This Web site for parents provides teen worker safety and health information as provided by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). Includes sample checklist for parents to use with their teens and links to federal and state child labor laws.

  • Youth Violence Prevention For Parents: This Web site for parents that seeks to alert and involve parents in violence prevention by teaching their children, by example and discussion, how to avoid violent situations. The site includes instructions on how to respond to warning signs and tools for parents.

Advice from the SODAH kids about sunscreen for parents and babysitters:
If your child really hates it, don't tell them it is sunscreen. Tell them that you are painting their face (making them a pirate, lion, or bird), and covertly cover their whole body in that skin cancer preventing white stuff! (Muahahaha!)
