For Parents: Preteen Interests
The ages of 9 to 12 are a period of growth for all children, both emotionally and physically. Your child's activities and interests will most likely start to change. This is a time to encourage healthy interests, including sports and other hobbies, and to discourage a focus on unproductive interests such as watching television. Here you will find information for you and your preteen to help cultivate a healthy and happy extracurricular lifestyle.
