This involved supervising a team of 10 orthopaedic and general surgery residents who care for emergent and elective orthopaedic patients at the Level-1 trauma center and county hospital for San Francisco. My teaching responsibilities with residents included leading a weekly foot and ankle conference, participating in daily fracture rounds, participating in a weekly surgical indications conference, participating in a weekly resident case conference, participating in department Grand Rounds, and didactic teaching as part of the Orthopaedic Basic Science resident lecture series. My teaching responsibilities with medical students included supervising and evaluating one to two medical residents rotating with the orthopaedic surgery team and lecturing on orthopaedic trauma surgery as part of the medical student clinical lecture series.UCSF Medical Center at Mount Zion
