NOTE: United Healthcare will continue to offer the employer group (retirees) plans in Santa Cruz County. If you are a Santa Cruz County patient with United Healthcare Medicare Solutions and you revert to traditional Medicare, you can keep your current provider(s).
PAMF also participates in Medicare A & B and Medicare Supplement ("Medi-Gap") insurance plans. However, at this time, PAMF does not participate in Medicare Advantage Private Fee-For-Service (PFFS) plans. The open enrollment period for Medicare Advantage plans is October 15 to December 7. Additional Information
We make every effort to keep this list as accurate as we can for our larger health plans. Even so, it is possible that not every health plan and circumstance is addressed here.
Coverage for psychiatric and behavioral health services varies by health plan. Some plans have a "carve-out" for mental health care, meaning services are covered by a separate organization that the patient must contact directly.
You can obtain the most accurate and timely information by calling your health plan or employer's benefits department and confirming your coverage level when choosing a PAMF physician.
