Restylane, Perlane

Restylane and Perlane are cosmetic dermal fillers that replace lost volume and smooth away moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as the lines from your nose to the corners of your mouth (nasolabial folds), and from the corners of the mouth downward (marionette lines). It can also be used to replenish volume in the lips and to help smooth the lines which radiate from the lips.

Procedure Description

• Your doctor may apply a topical anesthesia
  
• A fine needle is used to inject the filler beneath the skin's surface
  
• Treatments generally take about 30 minutes per session

• Slight swelling and redness may be evident after treatment, and lasts about three days
  
• Minor bruising may also occur for a few days and can be covered up with make-up
  
• Normal activities can be resumed immediately after the procedure
