Things are Changing!
As shown to the right, adolescence is easy to define. However, what is going on in your body is truly complex and marvelous.
Your body is going through some incredible changes – your voice changes, your bones grow, hair starts growing under your arms and around your genitals, and – in girls – breasts develop.
All of these things will happen to you, but it will be according to your body's own timing. That means everyone around you is going to be at different stages of change. That brings up a common question:
Am I Normal?
Yes, you are!
Most people your age don't feel very normal at times. Try to remember that you are unique and special, and your body will change and grow when it is ready.
This section has information on how you can help your body change to be the best it can be through eating right and fitness. There are articles as well on dealing with appearance issues – such as armpit odor, acne, and personal hygiene.
