    What is Dental Health?

We use our teeth in so many ways. Along with chewing food, teeth also help us smile and talk. In order to keep your teeth healthy, it is important to brush and floss daily, visit the dentist regularly, and to be able to recognize when something is wrong.

    Looking at teeth

People usually grow two different sets of teeth in their lives. The first set, about 20 teeth, will come in between six months and three years of age. These teeth are smaller, as they are meant for smaller mouths. Once you start growing, the smaller teeth fall out and bigger, permanent teeth take their place, leaving you with a total of 32 teeth. The last teeth that come in are your wisdom teeth, which could come in around the age of 18.
