    Ode to Dr. Quo

    Oh Dr. Quo
    I feel so low and
    My heart is now
    So full of woe.

    I put my retainer
    Below a napkin
    At a restaurant
    while on the go.

    My brain reacted slow
    And not until too late
    Did I know
    That my retainer was going
To the dump and far below.

    I hope this poem
    May show
    I suffer woe
    And be a future lesson
    To other children –
    Who may think slow.

    “Never leave
    Your retainer below
    A napkin while you’re
    On the go.”

    Lessons learned (PG-13)

    I had my retainer
    On my lap,
    Scooted forward
    Heard a snap,
    And then thought,
    “Oh crap!”
