I read this book after my 13-year old, who loved it. The Midnight Twins is the first book in a new trilogy about Meredith and Mallory Brynn, twins whose 13th birthday brings much more than the usual physical and emotional changes associated with coming of age. After a terrible fire the twins find that they cannot communicate telepathically the way they could as children, and that they can now see the past or the future.

In this exciting story, Meredith and Mallory have the worst year of their lives but together they manage to not only cope, but to save their small town from a surprising evil influence and learn to live with their new powers of site. This is a great read for everyone 12 and older – about differences, coping, twins, families, and most importantly, growing up!
