    Scrapbooking!

Scrapbooking is sort of like storytelling. It is one method of saving family memories or history with pictures, mementoes, art and anything else you can think of. It is sort of like a visual journal, and believe me, the older you get, the more you will appreciate the memories that your scrapbook keeps for you.

Use your imagination to create your scrapbook. You will need an album with protective plastic sheaths on the pages, usually 12 inches by 12 inches, paper (card stock for the base, and in pretty colors), and glue. Other things you may include in your include:

    • Pictures and other mementoes
    • Designs
    • Rubbers stamps
    • Craft punches
    • Colored pens or pencils
    • Stickers
    • Ribbon
    • Computer graphics
There are scrap-booking stores but you can get the paper, glue and goodies to add to your pages at any art or craft store. And even Wal-Mart.

In addition to saving memories, scrapbooking is a great way to do something while hanging out with friends. People frequently talk, eat, laugh, tell stories and share the memories
