    ElleGirl

ElleGirl is a younger version of Elle Magazine. It is for teens or preteens, and it focuses mostly on fashion and shopping. Usually, there are some pretty expensive items in the magazine, but in one issue everything was under $60, even the cover girl’s clothes. ElleGirl has lots of ads, and most of them are the same ones in other magazines: for clothes and make-up and products.

Some of the features that I like are the Runway vs. the Real Way section, in which the magazine finds outfits that look like the designer ones on the runway but cost a lot less. I also like the Hot Potato List, which has a list of what's "hot" and what's "cold." Some other interesting features include the Tour Diary of various bands or artists and the Dr. Boy section. Unlike other magazines, Elle Girl has a Global Girl section on global fashion and artists.

I would rate ElleGirl 3 out of 4 for preteens because it is pretty good, but does not include much besides fashion. If you are looking to find pages of clothes, however, ElleGirl might just be the magazine for you.
