Teen Vogue is based on the adult Vogue. It has smaller pages than most other magazines do, making it easier to read. The downside is that there are tons of ads for clothes and beauty products, including some for expensive and higher-end products. The magazine has pages of models with outfits according to the season, and a recent issue had some fun ideas for back-to-school clothes. Also, there are looks at less well-known young fashion designers.

Though most of the magazine is about clothes, articles also include personal stories from celebrities and discuss issues such as teen drinking. One of my favorite features is room makeovers, in which a designer such as Kate Spade or Isaac Mizrahi will redesign a girl’s room while giving tips and advice.

I would rate this magazine a 3 out of 4 because Teen Vogue is a pretty good magazine, but most of the content is ads. It focuses mostly on fashion and models like the adult Vogue does, but nothing in the magazine is bad and it can be a fun read.
