Cars is about a young hotshot race car named Lightning McQueen. Lightning has his head in the clouds and doesn't care about anyone except himself. On his way to California for the Piston Cup, Lightning finds himself in a dusty little town called Radiator Springs.

Overall, this is a great film for family members of all ages. Children will laugh at the jokes, while adults will be interested in the message about going back to the values of the 1950s.

Adult Review
By Nancy Brown, Ph.D.

Rating: 4 popcorn

Who has not dreamed of going back to a simpler time, when anything was possible and life was slow and safe? Cars is a great movie that reminds us all that anything is possible, and that we are responsible for creating our own reality. I laughed and even cried as the main characters succeeded, failed, bonded and found their own "happily ever after."
