If you see one movie this year, this documentary by former Vice President Al Gore should be it. For the past decade, Gore has been traveling the United States giving a fantastic PowerPoint presentation on global warming. An Inconvenient Truth is footage of the actual presentation mixed in with a behind-the-scenes look at the presentation's origins.

Global warming is one of the largest problems of the 21st century, but it is also one that is often misunderstood. This movie does a great job of explaining global warming in a way that both kids and adults can understand. In addition, this movie motivates viewers to act and make a difference. It is fantastic and smart. Everyone should see it!
