Banana Nut Bread

Ingredients

2 1/2 cups flour*
1 cup sugar
3 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
3 tablespoons salad oil (such as vegetable oil)
1/2 cup milk
1 egg
1 cup finely chopped nuts
1 cup (2-3) mashed, ripe bananas

Directions

Heat oven to 350. Grease and flour at 9x5x3-inch loaf pan. Measure all ingredients into large mixing bowl. Beat on medium speed for 1/2 minute and pour into pan. Bake for 55-65 minutes. Remove from pan and let cool.
* If you use self-rising flour you can omit the baking powder and salt.
