Creamy Carrots

Ingredients

2 carrots (thinly sliced)

3 tbs. lightly salted butter

Pinch of salt and/or pepper

Directions

Melt butter over stove in saucepan. Transfer carrots into saucepan and let soak (stove should be off now). Add salt and/or pepper and mix around. Drain any extra butter into the sink and reheat the carrots. Sprinkle pepper onto single servings.

Carrots, which are a type of root, are rich in nutrients, contain fiber and are low in cholesterol.
