One Hundred Dollar Cake

Ingredients

1/2 cup butter
2 cups sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 cup pecans
4 oz. bitter chocolate
2 eggs
1 1/2 cups milk
2 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoons salt

Frosting:
1/2 cup butter
2 squares bitter chocolate
1 egg, beaten
1 1/3 cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1 cup chopped nuts

Directions

Cream butter and sugar. Melt chocolate. Beat eggs and add the sugar mixture. Sift dry ingredients into a bowl and add sugar and butter mixture, then add milk and chocolate, alternating a little at a time. Add nuts. Bake in a loaf pan for one hour at 350.

Frosting:
Melt chocolate and butter. Add the beaten egg, sugar, vanilla, lemon juice and nuts.
