Snickerdoodles
Ingredients
1 cup soft shortening or butter
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
2 1/2 cups flour, sifted
2 teaspoon cream of tartar
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
Directions
Mix ingredients together. Roll into balls and sprinkle sugar and cinnamon on top. Place on an ungreased baking sheet and bake at 400 for 8-10 minutes. Makes two dozen 2-inch cookies.
