Support Groups for Prostate Cancer Patients and Families
Seeking emotional and spiritual support for both the individual with prostate cancer and family members around him can be very beneficial. Below is a list of local support groups in the Bay Area that are open to all and occasionally have guest speakers.

The Community Health Resource Center
The CHRC (level 2 in the Jamplis Building at the Palo Alto location) has a new quarterly bulletin: The Johns Hopkins White Paper Quarterly Prostate Bulletin. The nurse educator at the CHRC is available to help you locate other printed and online materials dealing with prostate cancer.
