Dr. James Bassett received his M.D. degree in 1980 from Boston University in Boston, Massachusetts, where he completed his internship at St. Elizabeth Hospital. He completed his residency at Stanford University Medical Center. Dr. Bassett is board certified in urology. His professional interests and specialties include cancer, kidney stones and pediatric urology.

Dr. Bassett is a member of the American Urological Association, the Northern California Urological Association and the American Medical Association.

Dr. Bassett enjoys fishing, photography and coaching his sons’ sports activities.
