Philosophy of care:

I enjoy interacting with my patients. I find people are more educated, more informed and more inquisitive than ever. I believe it is a positive trend and I encourage patients to take ownership over their health, whether by asking tough questions, looking for second opinions, or making tough decisions. As their physician my role is to listen, evaluate, educate and provide recommendations. With 16 years of training and experience in Sleep/Pulmonary/Critical Care, I can offer suggestions and present options. The patient is the one who ultimately has to live with the illness or condition, or undergo the treatment, so the patient should feel in control of those decisions and comfortable with all the risks and benefits.
