Group Information


Time: Thursday, 5 to 6:30 p.m.

Facilitator: Scott Granet, LCSW

In this group, participants will learn cognitive behavioral techniques to assist them in better coping with panic-related symptoms. Education is an important component of this group, assisting participants to achieve a better understanding of panic disorder.

Group size is limited to approximately eight participants.

This is an ongoing group that patients can join at any time; an eight-week commitment is encouraged. Participants also are encouraged to obtain the Anxiety and Phobia Workbook by Edmund Bourne, Ph.D.

  • Learn strategies to better control panic symptoms.
  • Re-engage in activities that may have become limited due to panic-related fear.
  • Meet other panic sufferers in a supportive and encouraging environment.
