Senior Grief Support Group

A therapeutic support group for seniors over age 60 focusing on recovering from the death of a loved one – a spouse, a child or a close relative or friend. Grief and mourning are processes that take time, but are usually eased by talking about the varied responses to loss in a supportive environment with those who have had similar experiences.

Number of participants: Five to eight people

Time: Wednesday, 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., 90 minutes

Duration: The commitment to the group is open-ended, but a minimum commitment of two months is recommended.
