Managing Anxiety and Stress Group
This therapy group will help participants learn about responses to stress and anxiety, and how to develop better coping skills. The supportive atmosphere will allow each participant to explore his or her own process for dealing with stress and anxiety while gaining tools for use in daily life, such as:
- understanding and identifying triggers for stress response
- recognizing triggering thoughts, feelings, images or sensations
- learning stress reduction and mindfulness techniques
- identifying problem patterns of responses
- identifying your needs and resources
- improving communication with others

Fee: $47 per session
Insurance benefit may apply, check with your insurance carrier prior to starting group. A minimum eight-week commitment is recommended. Group size will be four to eight people.
