Dr. Jack Remington Receives Two Major Awards in 2002

The award was established in 1983 to honor physicians "of care and skill who are committed to discovering and using biologic knowledge, wisdom and compassion to return patients to productive lives."

Dr. Remington's decades of research on infection in immunologically impaired patients, such as those with cancer or AIDS, and on toxoplasmosis have led to improved diagnosis and therapy.
