Manager, Department of Clinical Research

Barbara Anderson, R.N., CCRA, CCRC has been the manager for the Department of Clinical Research since 2001. Anderson has over 20 years experience in clinical research. Since coming to the United States from Canada in 1993, she has also held the positions of research nurse in the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine at Stanford and Associate Director of Clinical Trials for Cooke Pharma in Belmont.

Anderson received her Certificate in Health Promotion and Education from the University of Western Ontario, Canada. She is a certified clinical research coordinator (CCRC), as well as a certified clinical research associate (CCRA). Her professional associations include the Association of Clinical Research Professionals and the Health Care Compliance Association.

In her free time, Barbara Anderson enjoys sailing, Giants baseball and visiting friends and family in Canada and Japan.
