Healthcare Professionals, Pharmaceuticals, Biomedical and Device Companies
PAMF has more than 900 physicians who serve more than 600,000 patients in San Mateo, Santa Clara, Santa Cruz and Alameda counties. Patients' medical records are electronic and are in the process of being integrated into one system capable of enhancing the high quality care for which PAMF has earned a stellar reputation.
All clinical research studies must have a PAMF physician as a principal investigator. The Clinical Research Department can assist you in identifying investigators who may be interested in conducting your trial at PAMF.
The Clinical Research Department is comprised of a clinical research manager, two clinical research nurses and a clinical research coordinator, all of whom are available to assist with Independent Review Board (IRB) submissions. The clinical research nurses are certified clinical research coordinators with the Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP). The clinical research coordinator is a certified medical assistant. In addition, the department manager holds dual certifications as a certified clinical research coordinator and a certified clinical research associate.
We are committed to following good clinical practices and protecting the rights of human subjects.
If you are interested in conducting clinical research with the Palo Alto Medical Foundation, please email Barbara Anderson or call her at 650-853-4915.
