Changing the Experience of Surgery...
Benefits of the da Vinci® System
The da Vinci system is a computer-enhanced surgical instrument that enables our surgeons to perform incredibly precise, minimally invasive procedures that translate into less pain and blood loss and a quicker recovery time.
The da Vinci Surgical System comprises three components:
- The robotic arms that control the surgical instruments
- The surgeon's console
- A high-definition 3D vision system
The robotic device is completely under the surgeon's control, and it allows the surgeon to make more precise movements in a smaller area and eliminates hand tremors that can occur in even the steadiest of surgeons' hands.
Patients benefit from advanced skill-set, surgical innovation and proven leadership in minimally invasive surgery.
The benefits to our patients include:
- Low blood loss
- Minimal surgical trauma
- Low risk of complications
- Short hospital stay
- Faster recovery
