Surat Phonsombat, M.D.
Dr. Phonsombat received his M.D. degree from New York University School of Medicine in 2002. He completed an internship and a residency at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). He completed a fellowship in urology at UCSF. He has specialized training and robotic certification on the Da Vinci and Da Vinci S surgical systems.
Dr. Phonsombat's professional interests include minimally invasive surgery (i.e. robotics, laparoscopy and endourology), urologic oncology, kidney stones, infertility and erectile dysfunction, and reconstructive urology/urethral stricture disease. He is a member of the American Urological Association and speaks fluent Thai.
His personal interests include skiing, hiking, tennis and spending time with his wife and son.
