Ronald Collins
Ronald Collins is a 38-year resident of San Carlos. He received his B.A. degree from the University of California, Los Angeles and his M.Ed. from San Francisco State University. He has been an insurance agent for 23 years and is owner of an independent insurance brokerage firm.
He has been a member of the board of directors of HIP Housing of San Mateo County for nine years. He served on the San Carlos Planning Commission for four years, and is a former member of the San Carlos Educational Foundation. He has been a member of the San Carlos Kiwanis Club for 15 years, and served as club president for two terms. He is also a member of the San Carlos Chamber of Commerce.
He and his wife, Gayle, a fourth grade teacher, have two grown children. Ron's hobbies include golf, travel, running and gardening.
